Meet the Senior Property Management Team of Allen Realty Ltd

 

Pat Allen MBA, AREINZ

Principal Officer, Director

With over 25 years experience in sales, marketing and management, in banking, finance and real estate, Pat holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Auckland University) and is an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of NZ.

For many years Pat has had a special interest in Property Management and Investment, and as such he is well equipped to offer advice relating to property acquisitions, divestments and the management of property investments.

Pat is an expert on residential property management. His knowledge and skill of the law relating to the Residential Tenancies Act and property management is unparalleled. He is a published author and often writes a column for NZ Property Investor magazine. He shares his knowledge regularly at educational seminars and mentoring workshops. Pat is a keen golfer and enjoys song writing in his leisure time.

Cathy Allen MBA, AREINZ

Partner

Cathy has over 30 years experience in real estate sales, marketing, management and business ownership. She is an Associate and past National Councillor of the REINZ, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Auckland University).
Cathy has been a property investor since becoming involved in the industry.

She has a lifelong interest in learning, and enjoys keeping abreast of the latest business growth and management research, to ensure the company is at the cutting edge of best practice. Cathy loves to travel and to spend time in the country and at the beach.

Cathy is a Justice of the Peace.

Simon Allen BA, AREINZ

Simon joined the family company in 2001. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Waikato University) and is an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of NZ.

Simon worked extensively overseas in finance and accounting for large global companies and a Charitable Foundation based in London. Prior to this he travelled widely living in a variety of locations both overseas and in NZ, where he was involved in several small businesses of his own.

Simon is an investor, and with his specialised work experience, and coming from a real estate family, his approach to property management is disciplined and systematic, skills which are highly valued in the management of valuable real estate assets. Simon is a keen sportsman.

Joe Allen  B. Sport & Rec, AREINZ

Partner, General Manager Operations

Joe rejoined Allen Realty in December 2002, having completed a degree in Sport and Recreation at AUT. Joe is also an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute.

He had previously gained experience in the family business, including sales and marketing, letting, accounting and administration, and franchise and general management. Joe returned to NZ having travelled extensively and having enjoyed a wide range of work experience including supervisory and sales roles in small and large firms in England and Scotland.

Like his brother Simon, Joe is a keen sportsman who loves water sports, especially fishing and diving.  He is a keen investor. Wherever Joe goes you may also see his best pal, a friendly German Shepherd called Bob.

Tracey Boyle

Manager Operations

Tracey is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of property management. She is a keen residential property investor herself, and as such appreciates the needs of her investor landlords. Tracey has over a decade of experience in property management and has assisted many hundreds of investors in improving the performance of properties or portfolios.

Tracey loves the challenge of working and problem solving in property management, and she can be relied upon to manage the Allen Realty team of property managers and the properties they manage, as she does her own, offering a simply excellent customer service to investors and tenants.

Amanda Asma

Administration Manager

Amanda has been with Allen Realty for 4 years. She started out as our receptionist and was promoted to Admin Assistant very speedily as her passion for attention to detail and organisational talent was discovered. She has been managing this department since January 2010. She is a hardworking, reliable and valued member of the company.

A trained chef, Amanda also holds a certificate in Business Administration and Computing, and is currently looking at accounting courses to further extend her knowledge and expertise.

Amanda was born in Holland, is fluent in Dutch and has been in New Zealand since she was two years old. She has two gorgeous cats and enjoys travelling and cooking.
