Pat Allen MBA, AREINZ

Managing Director

With over 25 years experience in sales, marketing and management, in banking, finance and real estate, Pat holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Auckland University) and is an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of NZ.

For many years Pat has had a special interest in Property Management and Investment, and as such he is well equipped to offer advice relating to property acquisitions, divestments and the management of property investments.

Pat is an expert on residential property management. His knowledge and skill of the law relating to the Residential Tenancies Act and property management is unparalleled. He is a published author of many articles on property management. He shares his knowledge regularly at educational seminars and mentoring workshops. Pat is a keen golfer and enjoys song writing in his leisure time.

Cathy Allen MBA, AREINZ

Director

Cathy has over 30 years experience in real estate sales, marketing, management and business ownership. She is an Associate and past National Councillor of the REINZ, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Auckland University).
Cathy has been a property investor since becoming involved in the industry.

She has a lifelong interest in learning, and enjoys keeping abreast of the latest business growth and management research, to ensure the company is at the cutting edge of best practice. Cathy loves to travel and to spend time in the country and at the beach.

Cathy is a Justice of the Peace.

Simon Allen BA, AREINZ

Simon Allen was born into the property industry, the son of successful real estate entrepreneurs Pat and Cathy Allen.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts he travelled widely and was involved in several small businesses of his own, as well as working extensively overseas in finance and accounting for large global companies and a charitable foundation based in London.

In 2001 Simon joined forces with parents Pat and Cathy and twin brother Joe, at Allen Realty Ltd, a specialist property management company that has now been providing professional property management to Auckland investors for over 20 years.

An experienced investor in his own right, Simon’s approach to property management is disciplined and systematic. His dedication to building customer relationships as well as innovative business and marketing initiatives, has been integral to Allen Realty’s success.

As an industry expert in property management, hundreds of investors have benefited from his management, mentoring and regular published articles. Also an Associate of the Real Estate Institute, Simon was profiled by both Kiwi Property Investor Magazine and Kiwi Careers. His regular blogs, articles and newsletters provide a wealth of knowledge for all serious property investors.

In his spare time Simon is a keen sportsman and loves to fish, as well as relax with his partner and their young son.

Simon recently achieved great success in the property management industry, winning the 2011 REINZ Award for Residential Property Manager of the Year. He credits this success as a result of a commitment to customer service to both landlords and tenants. He also feels this award is a reflection of the strength of the Allen Realty team who continually encourage and motivate each other to provide excellent service.

Tracey Boyle

Operations Manager

Tracey is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of property management. She is a keen residential property investor herself, and as such appreciates the needs of her investor landlords. Tracey has over a decade of experience in property management and has assisted many hundreds of investors in improving the performance of properties and portfolios.

Tracey loves the challenge of working and problem solving in property management, and she can be relied upon to manage the Allen Realty team of property managers and the properties they manage, as she does her own, offering an excellent customer service to investors and tenants.

Amanda Asma

Administration Manager

Amanda has been with Allen Realty for many years. She began as receptionist and was promoted to Admin Assistant very speedily as her passion for attention to detail and organisational talent was discovered. She has been managing this department since January 2010. She is a hardworking, reliable and valued member of the company.

A trained chef, Amanda also holds a certificate in Business Administration and Computing, and is currently studying accounting to further extend her knowledge and expertise.

Amanda was born in Holland, is fluent in Dutch and has been in New Zealand since she was two years old. She has two gorgeous cats and enjoys travelling and cooking.

Amanda recently was named one of four finalists in the administration division of the REINZ 2011 Property Management Awards. Well done Amanda!

Pauline Vella

Finance and Administration Manager

Pauline manages the financial and administrative areas of Allen Realty, where she looks after the company assets, IT and accounting.

Pauline has been with the company for over 13 years and as Pat’s sister she really enjoys working closely with all the family.

In her spare time Pauline is very active in the musical theatre community as an administrator, producer, director and actor. Pauline has two grown sons and she is also an investor in residential real estate.
