NOTES ON FEES, PRIVACY ACT, REFERENCE & CREDIT CHECKS, DECLARATION

As the applicant herein, I appoint Allen Realty 2005 Ltd (ARL) to find a property to rent and agree to pay a fee of one weeks rent plus GST on authorising an agreement to rent arranged by ARL. I acknowledge that I have authorized and continue to authorize ARL to use all the information provided, or/and to make any inquiry of, or credit check of any third party or referee or any agency, as ARL in its entire discretion see fit to make in connection with the granting of and/or at any time during the currency of any tenancy granted. I acknowledge that this form asks for personal information to be provided to ARL connected with the granting of a tenancy and I am advised that should a tenancy not be granted then the information will be destroyed by ARL. The applicant also agrees that ARL may use any of the information provided to enforce any tenancy tribunal judgement or order, or for all or any other matter involving the application or/and in regard to any future tenancy matter. The applicant declares that the information provided is true and correct.
With specific regard to credit reporting services: I understand that one or more credit reporting agencies will give you information about me for that purpose and that you will give my personal information to one or more credit reporting agencies, and that they will hold that information on their systems and use it to provide their credit reporting service. I also understand that when other credit reporting agency (s) customers use their service, the credit reporting agency(s) may give the information to those customers. If I default in my payment obligations to ARL, information about that default may be given to credit reporting agencies and they may give that information also to other credit reporting agency customers.
